Academy Award win highlights Indian documentaries

One Indian production wins Oscar, while another was in competition

CHENNAI -- With the spotlight on Asian talent at the recent 95th Academy Awards, Indian filmmakers also gained a hard-earned international boost.

For the first time, at this year's Oscars three Indian films were in contention, with one winning original song, one getting best documentary short and the other competing in the documentary feature category.
