ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan's former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been nominated to lead the country again, after several parties banded together to form a coalition.

After last Thursday's elections, the move sets the stage for a government that is expected to come under constant pressure from allies of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who won the most seats. Some experts are already predicting an early demise for the next administration before it has even taken the reins.
