SINGAPORE -- The Singapore Airshow, Asia's largest aerospace and defense industry event, kicked off on Tuesday, returning to full scale following a limited opening in 2022 after the COVID-19 pandemic had wreaked havoc on air travel.

The biennial exhibition is a platform for companies to display their latest technology and discuss pressing challenges such as sustainability.
