PENANG, Malaysia -- Taiwanese components supplier Passive System Alliance (PSA) will begin shipping printed circuit boards for servers from its new plant in Malaysia this year to capture pressing demand for supply chain diversification for sensitive tech products.

"We will start shipping [PCBs] from our new plant around June or July. First we will supply to Vietnam, but we are seeing the Malaysian plant to serve as a regional hub to provide to the entire Southeast Asia," Ian Yang, president of PSA subsidiary Elna, told Nikkei Asia.
